Deploy the Settings

Important: You must be an Admin user to deploy the settings.

After you have configured RLS, you must send the RLS locations to IntelliTrack. When a RLS location is associated with an IntelliTrack location, the RFID event is sent to IntelliTrack.

  1. Open the Windows Services window.
  1. Locate the RFID Listener Service entry.

  1. Stop the RFID Listener Service.
  2. Open the RLS Configurator by selecting Start > Barcoding, Inc > RLS Configurator.
  3. In the RLS Configurator, click Deploy in the navigation pane. The Deploy area appears in the work area to the right.

  1. Click the Deploy Current Config button in the Deploy area of window. This sends the current RLS configuration to IntelliTrack.

  1. Return to the Windows Services window.
  2. Start the RFID Listener Service.
  3. Open IntelliTrack. The RLS locations appear in the Add Location form and the Edit Location form in IntelliTrack. The RLS location may now be mapped to an IntelliTrack location; see "Mapping the Locations in IntelliTrack" for more information.
